2012 Subaru Impreza Hatchback 2.0. 258,000 km. Car runs every day but needs a bit of attention to pass inspection. There is some pros and cons to this car per last visit to mechanic. The pluses: New Battery, Starts great, works and runs well, new battery terminals, second season only of winter tires, Bluetooth capability, after-market pioneer screen with subwoofers ($1200 value), fold down hatchback seats for hauling if need, transmission replaced in 2024 at 158,000 km on it when installed, starts great, no leaks, engine is good and it is more comfortable than my 2017 vehicle. All lights and signals work and breaks are good but mechanic said front are wearing a bit but no noise or grinding from them and has roof-rack bars. The cons are: it was bought in Halifax with modified muffler as it came bit loose recently but was pinned up and holding so far, both back windows do not go down (could be simple fuse fix), horn doesn't blow (could be simple fuse fix) and recently, the heater button ceased so no heat blows but I purchased all 3 replacement buttons for re-installation, and a few holes forming in rocker panels and desperately needs tune up as it burns more oil per month than average car (oil does not leak) but the thing is, I am not spending anymore time or money on car anymore so I am selling "AS IS"- it runs and drives great every day and mechanic said with this car, if a little bit of money is put into it, it will last another few years.
