2011 Mini Cooper

Selling my favorite car! This little beast has served me well for years. Amazing on gas, surprisingly lots of cargo space and more headroom than most cars.

The good:
- Everything electronic works, wipers, windows, lights sunroof etc.
- car runs and drives
- newer tires (spring 2025)
- heat and ac work
- new windshield
- newer battery
- no body rust
- ridiculously cheap on insurance

The bad:
- car has been in a fender bender and only received the damage shown in pictures.

- the thermostat housing is cracked causing coolant to leak everywhere.
- because the coolant leaks immediately, the engine overheats and goes into low power mode
- timing chain is starting to fault due to rapidly overheating engine. Engine has been idle since to ensure no damage to engine itself
- alternator is fried, no longer charging the battery.
- brakes are going too.

This diagnosis comes from a mechanic who helped me determine the main issue. Thermostat housing is $100 and timing chain springs are less. Cost comes from labor. I’m not mechanically inclined. If you were, the car is easily fixable.
